A
review about the - Warehouse Stage

The Warehouse Stage
is a new [August 2006’] club in the Madison
area.
It used to be the old
Friendly Tavern before it was massively renovated and updated by
owners Rick Driese and Dan Leach, there
may be a third owner, I just don’t have the name at the moment.
The club is located off hywy. 12 [University
Ave.] ½ mile
past Quaker Steak and Lube.
You pull into a large parking lot with plenty
of stalls and enter the club. The club has bright red walls and
a rock themed atmosphere.
There is a large dancefloor and a quality sound system run by Steve
Fischer, [or “Fish” as he’s sometimes called].
There is a band playing almost everynight at
the club. You can witness local, regional and national acts on
a fairly regular basis. Rick
has many years of experience booking and retaining great national
bands for Madison rock shows, and they are always looking for the
next big show to bring to the area. You can even call the club and
ask them if they can book a certain band. It’s a real hands
on type operation, and another great venue for local Madison bands
to play.
If you love live music, go check out the Warehouse Stage today!
If your in
a band, you must play here! Contact information listed
